Ahoy Region 3! 

With Lucy being selected and confirmed for Chief of Communications for STARFLEET, she’s stepped down as the VRC for Region 3. I thank her for her years of service, wisdom, kindness and patients! As it turns out, she is impossible to replace… So I’m not going to try. 

Instead I’m taking the VRC role in a slightly different direction, and appointing three! 

Senior Vice-Regional Coordinator – Trisha Tunis. She’s been on staff forever and a day, and her main job is to provide continuity, should I become unavailable. 
Junior Vice-Regional Coordinators – Jason Davis and Randee Moody. These two have put their hands in the air not just for VRC – but an interest in learning the RC role, with intent on being able to take over. Thus this is a mentoring and training bit, to ensure we have two really strong RC candidates, who will know exactly where R3 has been in the last 8+ years, who the staff are, and plans for the future. 

As a reminder, Region 3 is still looking for a new Quartermaster/Finance Manager. If interested, please contact me ASAP (rc@region3.org). 

Please join me in thanking Lucy for her time, wishing her well up at STARFLEET HQ, and welcoming my ‘Vice squad’ of VRC’s to the mix!
