Greetings Region 3, 

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, and safe travels associated with that holiday. For me I went back to Nevada to visit family (It’s been over 5 years, longer since been there fro a holiday). It is always interesting to be around family, good, bad, and otherwise. It can be needed, therapeutic, or a whole new form of stress – all rolled into one. Thus, it is my hope that the holiday was not overly taxing for anyone, and that all found a way to enjoy it. 

The Commander, STARFLEET election has concluded, with Steven Parmley winning. The AB will be meeting on December 7th, with the main agenda items to finish the MHB and confirm the rest of Mr. Parmley’s slate. There was not a meeting on the 16th of this month – we could not get enough RC’s for a quorum. Instead Dan Toole held an informal chat, which I did participate in. 

Please start now in planing to submit awards fro the Region. I understand we still have December, and many chapters and members do great things during that final month – but it’s easier to add that in in January than wait and start from scratch. The Award nomination period will be from 4 January 2020, to 7 March – a bit over 2 months. If you need help R3 staff stands ready. 

Everyone have a great holiday season as we enter December, and again, stay safe.
