The USS Zavala looks forward to hosting you for Region 3 Day at Space Center Houston on September 14.  PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS UPDATED INFO ON RESERVING A HOTEL ROOM if you are coming in to spend the night.
You need to call the Days Inn & Suites NASA directly.  Speaking to the national reservation line will get you nowhere.  The number I have just been given to use is:  281-332-1001. (That is a different number from what I was given earlier.) That number will take you directly to the front desk of the hotel. Tell them you are with the ” STARFLEET 3″ group for the discounted rate of $74.99 for single king and $84.99 for queen double.  
If you still have a problem getting the reservation or rate, ask for Chris, or if he isn’t there right then, ask when Chris will be back at the desk.  
There’s still time to get your discounted NASA tickets!  Tuesday, September 3 is the deadline!  Go to qm.region3.org to purchase. If you have any difficulty or have questions, please let me know.  You can email me at vrc@region3.org or text me at 601-331-5426.
Please remember that we will be distributing the tickets at 9:30 am the 14th.  Doors open at 10:00 am.  IF YOU ARE UNAVOIDABLY delayed or not coming at the last minute, please call or text me directly at 601-331-5426 so I will know what is going on.  Parking is $5.
If someone decides to come at the last minute, tickets can always be purchased at the normal price at the door.
Reminder:  The hotel does not have an elevator so if you have to have a first floor room, be sure to tell the desk and they will try to accommodate. The hotel provides free breakfast, mini-fridge, microwave, free wifi and an indoor pool!  You can cancel as late as 24 hours prior and not be charged.
